How to use Saathi reader (Windows Software)
የSaathi software ታሪክ የጀመረው በህንድ ሀገር በሚገኘው እና Half Engineer ተብሎ በሚታወቀው Ashish Kaushik አማካኝነት ሲሆን ዋነኛ ዓላማውም visually impaired ለሆኑ ሰዎች የማይነበቡ PDF ፋይሎችን በቀላሉ እንዲያነቡ መርዳት ነው። ይህ software መጀመሪያ በ Windows computer ላይ ስራ የጀመረው በ2023 አካባቢ ሲሆን በውስጡ ባለው OCR (Optical Character Recognition) ቴክኖሎጂ አማካኝነት ማንኛውንም ምስል ያለበትን PDF ወደ ተራ text በመቀየር በ screen reader እንዲነበብ ያደርጋል። በሂደትም በ Blind Help Project አማካኝነት ከፍተኛ ተቀባይነትን አግኝቶ ከ Windows በተጨማሪ የ Android app ተሰርቶለታል። Saathi በማህበረሰቡ ዘንድ ተወዳጅ ሊሆን የቻለው ያለምንም ክፍያ (free) የሚሰራጭ እና ኢንተርኔት ሳይኖር (offline) ስራውን በፍጥነት ስለሚያከናውን ሲሆን ዛሬ ላይ በሺዎች የሚቆጠሩ ተማሪዎች እና ባለሙያዎች እንደ ዋነኛ የንባብ ረዳት ይጠቀሙበታል።

VLC ነፃ የሆነ፣ በተለያዩ ኦፕሬቲንግ ሲስተሞች ላይ የሚሰራ የመልቲሚዲያ ማጫወቻ ነው።
