Today, we’re going to explore how to efficiently transfer files between your PC and your smartphone using a mobile hotspot.
/The best part is that you won’t need an internet connection for this process. By simply turning on your mobile hotspot or using a dongle hotspot, you can easily move your files.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to transferring files:
Steps
- Download File manager+ to your Android phone with this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alphainventor.filemanager
- After installing the app, open it and select “Access from Network”.
- Once you click “Access from Network,” the app will prompt you to make changes to the port, password, and whether to allow hidden files to be shown when a PC connects to your phone. Choose your desired options and click Start Service.
- After starting the service, you’ll see an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) address displayed on your phone’s screen.
- On your PC, open File Explorer and press “Alt + D.”
- Carefully type in the FTP address displayed on your phone and press “Enter”.
- Your PC will prompt you to enter the password to establish an FTP connection between your PC and phone. Enter your password and hit “Enter”.
Now, you’ll have the ability to manage your phone’s files directly from your PC. You can copy, cut, delete, and create folders on your Computer with ease!
